Imaging Systems Specialist

An Imaging Systems Specialist provides technical development skills for the implementation of high volume imaging solutions in support of SOURCECORP operations.

 

Typical tasks for the Imaging Systems Specialist include:

  • Design, Development, and Testing of Imaging System components using C#, VBA, VB.NET, and SQL Server.
  • Integrate imaging system components into complete workflow solutions utilizing EMC2 Formware and similar tools.
  • Development of administrative and user documentation for imaging systems.
  • Support roll-out and support of production imaging systems
  • Status tracking and reporting
  • Support Imaging Systems Architect to gather and application requirements.
  • Support Imaging Systems Architect to develop and document system designs.

 

Core Technical skills necessary for the Imaging Systems Specialist include:

  • Formware, data entry, and imaging software, or equivalent experience
  • Workflow software experience
  • Microsoft development technologies (C#,VBA, VB, .NET, SQL Server)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Document imaging, data entry, and workflow

 

Typical Experience Required: 2-3 years imaging/data-capture development

 

Travel Requirement: 30-40%

Senior Imaging Systems Specialist

An Imaging Systems Specialist acts as a team lead, providing technical development skills to implement high volume imaging solutions in support of SOURCECORP operations.

 

Typical tasks for the Senior Imaging Systems Specialist include:

  • Support Imaging Systems Architect to gather and application requirements.
  • Support Imaging Systems Architect to develop and document system designs.
  • Design and documenting specifications for systems to meet documented requirements.
  • Design, Development, and Testing of Imaging System components using C#, VBA, VB.NET, and SQL Server.
  • Integrate imaging system components into complete workflow solutions utilizing EMC2 Formware and similar tools.
  • Development of administrative and user documentation for imaging systems.
  • Support roll-out and support of production imaging systems
  • Status tracking and reporting
  • Lead small teams in day to day development
  • Small Project plan development, tracking, and reporting
  • Interface with SOURCECORP operational management to develop and deploy solutions.

 

Core Technical skills necessary for the Senior Imaging Systems Specialist include:

  • Formware, data entry and imaging software, or equivalent experience
  • Workflow software
  • Microsoft development technologies (C#, VBA, VB, .NET, SQL Server) or equivalent experience in component or object-based development platform
  • Document imaging, data entry, and workflow
  • Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project

 

Typical Experience Required: 3-5 years imaging/data-capture development

 

Travel Requirement: 30-40%

CONFIGURATION ANALYST--  Binghamton, NY

JOB SUMMARY (the purpose and general nature of the job)

 

SOURCECORP’s Performance Engineering team is responsible for the successful implementation of operational and technical projects. In order to ensure that Performance Engineering meets the application needs from Operations and the customer, a Configuration Analyst resource is required to configure the features and functionality of the systems.  The Configuration Analyst will be primarily responsible for application configurations  including but not limited to: configuration training for local operations support, configuration training for international operations (in English) support, application test & acceptance plans and assisting with the maintenance of application support documentation.  This role will be in direct support of applications to be used by multi-functional project teams that consist of IT, Project Management and Operations personnel as well as Customer Relationship Managers & customers of SOURCECORP.

 

                               

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

In this position, either directly or through others, the candidate will:

 

·         Participate in projects

·         Understand Project Management methodologies

·         Facilitate the transition of business requirements solicited from the customer into configured features of the applications

·         Assist with testing application functionality

·         Participates in the implementation stages such to support and modify documentation to a usable and repeatable process

·         Have the ability to quickly learn and master new systems and technology as they emerge

·         Participate in a team environment and be open to varying opinions, documentation styles and business requirements

·         Analyzes changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change

 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience:

  • Minimum of two years technical support experience
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products
  • Working knowledge of a variety of technical platforms (thin/thick client, Windows based applications v. UNIX, Oracle based applications) to the extent they impact the user experience
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

Preferred

·        Associates degree in computer science or equivalent education

·        Training and or Quality Assurance experience a plus

·        Application configuration a plus

 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:

 

·         Typical office environment

·         Travel  occassional

·         May require working in warehouse conditions for implementation testing phases
