SOURCECORP Awarded Contract with New York Police Department
Company Agreement to Provide Systems Integration, Document Imaging, and Related Information Technology Services

Dallas, January 21, 2004 - SOURCECORP (NASDAQ: SRCP), a leading provider of business process outsourcing solutions in combination with its subcontractor, ImageWork Technologies, has been selected to convert the New York City Police Department's current paper-based medical billing and medical records system to a paperless workflow environment, completely revamping the way medical claims are processed and records are stored and accessed. In conjunction with the workflow system implementation SOURCECORP will also convert a backfile of approximately 4 million hardcopy papers to digital image.

As the result of a rigorous procurement, SOURCECORP was chosen on the basis of its broad experience, technical capabilities, and reasonable cost structure.

Benefits to the NYPD will include a dramatic reduction of time required to track, process and pay medical bills of officers treated for line-of-duty injuries; a substantial reduction of time required to file, retrieve and process active medical records; and the reclamation of space previously required for records storage.

The contract has an approximate value of $1.5M.
